Bladder cancer and upper tract urothelial cancer - what GPs should know

Overview
Urological surgeon and uro-oncologist Dr Pras Satasivam will provide an overview of the aetiology and presentation of bladder and upper tract urothelial cancer and an update on the latest surgical, radiation and systemic therapies. Pras will list recommended investigatons and when referral to a specialist is recommended. Case studies will be used for context.

Learning Outcomes
By the end of this activity, participants will be able to:

  1. Describe the contemporary management of bladder cancera nd upepr tract urothelial cancer.
  2. List the red flags that recommend immediate referral to a specialist.
