Health of Healthcare Workers
Health of Healthcare Workers
2026. 04. 22. 17:30

The health of healthcare workers is fundamental to the health of our systems — yet clinicians continue to work under increasing strain. This session focuses on the real‑world challenges affecting healthcare worker wellbeing and the organisational factors that either protect or undermine it.

Drawing on clinical, governance and research perspectives, the presentation will explore how issues such as psychosocial risk, mental health, addiction, neurodiversity, menopause, and safe work design intersect in healthcare environments. It will also reflect on lessons from pandemic response and what they reveal about sustainable workforce models.

The session aims to move beyond awareness, offering practical insights into how healthcare organisations can better support their people while maintaining safety, quality, and trust.
