Join us for a free RACGP Approved CPD Workshop at our Fitzroy (Melbourne) clinic:

Treating Anxiety in Primary Care: Practical Strategies for Busy General Practice

Presenter - Professor David Castle (leading Psychiatrist)

This activity has been developed in response to the increasing prevalence of anxiety disorders in Australia and the pivotal role GPs play in their early recognition, assessment and management. Anxiety disorders are one of the most frequent psychological presentations in general practice, and as the first point of contact for many patients, GPs are required to deliver timely, evidence-based assessment, psychoeducation, treatment and appropriate referral, often within the constraints of a standard consultation.

This interactive workshop has been designed to build GPs' confidence and clinical capability in recognising and managing anxiety disorders using practical, evidence-based strategies that can be readily applied in everyday practice. Through case-based learning and clinically relevant guidance, participants will strengthen their ability to provide effective first-line care and ultimately improve patient outcomes.

Light refreshments provided.
